Kathy

Kathy's passion began as young girl & 20+ years later she's as passionate as ever.

Her journey began in 1997 as a stylist at the well known commission salon Sir Gauuans. She was highly influenced by the structure, discipline, and time management coupled with education and product knowledge classes.

After a year of hard work and building confidence in her craft she decided it was time for a change. She went out on her own and found a home at The Renaissance Hair Salon. For the next 20years she has been creating great hair and educating herself in the broad world of hair. Her business has grown beyond expectations through her dedication to the craft and discovering new relationships by creating cuts, colors and styles for people from all walks of life.

She specializes in Scrupples High Definition and Blazing High Lighting system and Shadow Lights Haircolor system. She creates a variety of dimension and applies her certification in “Self Tour” color and hair design to accentuate or diminish facial structure to create the best look for each client. She considers her job as a stylist to also educate her clients in the importance of healthy hair and maintaining the integrity of the hair. Kathy is also certified in the Micheal O’Rourke Institute of Courage, The Art of Cutting. It helps her stay creative and challenges her to keep it fresh when cutting her favorite long layers and razor cuts. She is also a big believer in the life changing experience of a client’s first Brazilian Blowout. "It’s so silky smooth and it is so rewarding knowing I did that!!!!"
